Bisphenol A liquid epoxy resin
In 1994, the production of epoxy resins in China consumed about 20,000 tons of BPA, and polycarbonates consumed about 3,000 tons of Bisphenol A BPA. In 1995, epoxy resins consumed 23,000 tons of BPA, and polycarbonates consumed about 3,600 tons of BPA. It is estimated that the demand for BPA from epoxy resins will be 25,000-27,000 tons in 1996, and that from polycarbonates will be about 4,000-4,200 tons. It can be seen that only to meet the production needs of epoxy resins and polycarbonates, nearly 20,000 tons of Bisphenol A Bisphenol A BPA still need to be imported in 1996.
