BPA for Polyester Resins
Bisphenol A (BPA) is one of the important downstream products produced by the reaction of phenol and acetone. It is a raw material for various high-molecular weight carbonic acid resins, such as epoxy resin (ER), polycarbonate (PC), phenolic resin, melamine resin, polyimide, modified phenolic resin, PVC heat stabilizer, rubber antioxidant, paint and ink antioxidants and plasticizers. Moreover, it has been widely used as a raw material for various polymer materials and multiple additives in modern scientific and technological fields such as chemical engineering, light industry, electronic instruments, electromechanical engineering, transportation, architecture, military, aerospace and astronautics.
