What are the regulations for Hydroxyethyl Acrylic HEA Waste Disposal?

2025-11-25

Hydroxyethyl acrylate HEA Waste Disposal
Enterprises must entrust units with hazardous waste disposal qualifications for disposal, using high-temperature incineration method (above 1200°C) and equipped with an exhaust gas purification system. Direct discharge into municipal pipelines or landfill disposal is strictly prohibited. Laboratory waste liquid should be sealed in a special plastic barrel, labeled with a warning label for waste liquid containing hydroxyethyl acrylate HEA, and the storage time should not exceed 30 days.

The structure of hydroxyethyl acrylate HEA determines that it has a certain polarity. Due to the difference in electronegativity of different atoms in the molecule, the charge distribution is uneven. This polarity allows it to be well miscible with some polar solvents, such as ethanol and water.
