Sodium hydrosulfide anhydrous

Is the absorption process of sodium hydrosulfide carried out under negative pressure?

    Reaction Mechanism

Sodium hydrosulfide is produced by absorbing hydrogen sulfide with liquid caustic soda.

    The reaction is as follows:

    NaOH + H

    ₂S → Na₂S + 2H₂O

The absorption process of sodium hydrosulfide anhydrous is carried out under negative pressure. The reaction essentially proceeds in two steps. First, Sodium hydrosulfide anhydrous absorbs hydrogen sulfide to form sodium sulfide:
    2NaOH + H₂S → Na₂S + 2H₂O
