Sodium hydrosulfide buy
Reaction Mechanism
Sodium hydrosulfide is produced by absorbing hydrogen sulfide with liquid caustic soda.
The reaction is as follows:
NaOH + H₂S
E₂₈₂S
NaHS + H
E₂₈₂O
Raw Material Concentration
The concentration of sodium hydroxide directly influences the formation of sodium hydrosulfide. Using low-concentration liquid caustic soda can only yield low-content sodium hydrosulfide. To ensure a high product content, it is essential to maintain an adequate NaOH concentration.
Reaction Temperature
Since the absorption of H₂S is an exothermic reaction, the temperature continuously rises as the reaction proceeds. Therefore, the absorption tank must be equipped with cooling to continuously remove the reaction heat, thereby maintaining the reaction rate and improving the absorption efficiency of hydrogen sulfide.
