Sodium hydrosulfide sds
Role of Sodium Hydrosulfide in Flotation
Sodium hydrosulfide can sulfurize the surface of partially oxidized sulfide minerals, restoring their floatability. It reacts with the oxidized mineral surface to form a sulfide film, enhancing the hydrophobicity of the mineral surface.
It serves as a modifier in the separation of sulfide and oxide minerals by suppressing the flotation of oxide minerals. This occurs through the formation of a hydrophilic film on the oxide mineral surface, preventing collector adsorption.
