Sodium hydrosulfide acid or base
For certain iron sulfide minerals, sodium hydrosulfide adjusts their floatability, enabling effective separation from other minerals by altering their surface oxidation degree and chemical composition.
Sodium hydrosulfide acid removes heavy metal ions from the pulp that interfere with flotation, reducing adverse effects on the flotation process. Sodium hydrosulfide acid reacts with heavy metal ions to form precipitates for removal.
