Bisphenol A BPA flame retardant
In terms of the uses of Bisphenol A BPA, flame retardants, especially tetrabromobisphenol A and brominated epoxy resins, are developing very rapidly, and the consumption of Bisphenol A BPA is increasing year by year. Taking Resin Factory as an example, its output of brominated epoxy resin was 22 tons in 1994, 100 tons in 1995, and planned to be 360 tons in 1996, with a growth rate of 200% in recent years. At present, the factories producing tetrabromobisphenol A are not large in scale (several factories have an annual production capacity of only 500 tons of tetrabromobisphenol A), and their processes are relatively backward, causing serious environmental pollution. However, from a development perspective, this product has great vitality. Factories with conditions can appropriately consider developing this product (it is best to expand and renovate existing tetrabromobisphenol A production units).
